When I’m done with you, you’ll cry for mercy — Victor O to Shatta Wale

Nigerian rapper, Victor Ncha Odu, popularly known as Vic O, has challenged Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale to a rap battle after the latter dragged Nigerian artists during his show.

Recall that Shatta Wale had insulted Nigerian singers during his Christmas concert on Sunday when he succeed in filling the biggest stadium in Accra.

According to Shatta Wale, he’d been told it was impossible to fill stadiums in Ghana without inviting Nigerian arists

He said: “I just want to speak my mind. They told me I wouldn’t sell out the stadium but see it now. I don’t need any Nigerian artistes to sell out my concerts. F** k Nigerian artistes.”

Nigerian rapper, Vic O has come out to challenge Shatta Wale, saying that if the Ghanaian star beats him, he will resign from doing music.

Sharing the video, he wrote: ”@shattawalenima if you say u the best i challenge you to a #rapbattle or a #singbattle. Cos i know you’re just running mouth. You have the guts to insult naija stars. When I’m done with you, You’ll cry for mercy to get into the studio again.

Shatta Wale has records of ith Nigerian artistes including Davido, Wizkid, and Stoneboy, and had not reserved his hatred for them.

Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale has said Nigerian singers aren’t as great as people consider them to be. He said this halfway through his performance at the ‘Freedom Concert’ held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He also highlighted some concerns within the Ghanaian music industry.

Shatta Wale who paused to address the crowd said music industry naysayers who never believed in his craft are fools.

Shatta said some stakeholders in the music industry initially doubted his idea to organize a ‘sold out’ out concert at the sports stadium.

The Shatta Movement boss was glad he had proved them all wrong as the Accra Sports Stadium was filled to the brim. He went all emotional while speaking to the crowd.

He also lambasted some of his colleagues who usually look up to the ‘seemingly high standard’ of Nigerian artistes.

The ‘Botoe’ hitmaker labeled Nigerian artistes as ‘stupid’ adding that they should not be seen by Ghanaians as idols.

“Do know that majority of people in the Ghana music industry are fools?

They told me that I won’t be able to fill my stadium. I don’t look up to any stupid Nigeria artiste I look up to my fans. phyuk Nigeria,” he stated.
