Father Mbaka prophesies about Nnamdi Kanu

The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has disclosed what God told him about Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, this 2022.

According to the priest, God will show mercy to Kanu and other detainees.

Mbaka said this on Saturday while asking his fellow priests to stop castigating
Speaking on Saturday, Mbaka appealed to his fellow priests to stop condemning him for praying for blessing the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, over his travails.

Mbaka again prayed for Kanu and other agitators who are in prison. He saw Kanu as his own son.

Mbaka gave his message during the crossover night service at the Adoration Ground, Emene, Enugu.

Mbaka said,

“I’m begging my fellow priests to stop condemning me for praying for Nnamdi Kanu. I am not closing any priest’s mouth and nobody should close my own. If I use my mouth to bless Nnamdi Kanu and you don’t like it, please use your own mouth to curse him. Leave me to bless him.

“I see Nnamdi Kanu as my son. Every Igbo man and woman is my child. You may not understand the spiritual authority I have on this land.

“If as a church, we can be praying for Nigeria in distress, nobody can stop us from praying for Nnamdi Kanu and our brothers in distress.

“This year will be for Kanu and those held for agitations. God will show them mercy this year.”

South-East has right to produce next presidency — Ikpeazu

South-East has right to produce next presidency --- Ikpeazu

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has said the South-East has the right to produce Nigeria’s next president because it understands the country better.

Ikpeara was addressing State House correspondents after a visit to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), in Abuja on Thursday when he let this out.

“I think that the southeasterners have a right to take a shot at the presidency of Nigeria and I dare say that our qualification starts from the fact that we understand and know Nigeria better than the other states of Nigeria.

“I dare say, this is my opinion. We go everywhere, we are everywhere, we invest everywhere, we are Pan-Nigerian people,” he said.

“Today, a lot of people are afraid of Sambisa, but for an Igbo man, Sambisa is a business opportunity,” he added.

Ikpeazu added that the next president of Nigerian must possess a Pan-Nigerian mentality with understanding of all the contending interests and influences in the country.

“The question of Nigerian president of southeast extraction is a national question that required negotiation, discussion and conversation with all parts of this country and I am least qualified to determine what happens in 2023.

“I also want to spend my time supporting the incumbent president to do his time and do his best while we wait for what will begin to unfold. So, these are my views about the presidency.

“In the first place, anybody who wants to aspire to the highest post of the presidency must have what I regard as Pan-Nigerian mentality. He must be somebody who has an understanding of all the contending interests and influences in this country. He must understand that we are a country of diversity with the different persuasions, traditions, cultures and religions. All of these must be put in a place where you can understand and respect them.

“That individual must also be somebody who is ready to accommodate the youths of this country without necessarily throwing away the experienced ones, he must be able to find a labyrinth of all the interests.

“He must also reflect an extreme women agenda. He must be investor-friendly and an individual who understands the nuances of economics, the relationship between international politics and economy. The person must be strong enough to face up to the issue on the front burner, which is security.

“He must be able to create jobs, he must be able to not deploy the kinetic device all the time, he must able to also listen and negotiate peace.

Nigerian economy better under PDP – Onuesoke

Nigerian economy better under PDP – Onuesoke

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain and former Delta State gubernatorial aspirant, Sunny Onuesoke has compared the economy of Nigeria when it was being led by PDP to its state now under the All Progressive Congress, judging that Nigeria had a better economy under PDP.

According to him, “Under PDP, you had a government that listened, had rule of law and you could protest without fear. The cost of living was way better, unemployment was far lesser, insecurity was contained to an area, electricity supply and charges were way better.

“But today, you are dying yet can’t cry. You dare to cry, you end up behind bars. Egg of N20 now sells for N70-N80 naira. Indomie of N20 now sells for N80-N99. Pure water of N5 now sells for N20-N30. An electricity bill of N1, 500, is now N40, 000 with no light.”

Reacting to recent outburst by Transport Minister, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi against former President Goodluck Jonathan, Onuesoke  said it was only an attempt  to divert the people’s attention from the failure of this present administration.

Onuesoke wondered how it is possible that the money the ex-President left behind  couldn’t sustain Nigerian for three weeks just as he  queried  where they saw money to sustain the economy for the past  years.

He termed it embarrassing that a government that has ruled for two terms keep laying blames on a government that ruled for only one term, rather than stop the blame game and concentrate on fulfilling the promises they made to Nigerians.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, said the country would have been a better one without President Muhammadu Buhari

Save Nigeria from Buhari now, PDP Reps’ caucus cries out

Members of the People’s Democratic Party Caucus in the House of Representatives, Wednesday have disclosed what they think is the real reason President Muhammadu Buhari withheld his assent to the amended electoral bill. They said it was to avoid electronic transmission of election results.

Decrying the insecurity in the country, thwt said Nigeria had been seized by hostage-takers-bandits and terrorists who now feed on the poor and impoverished citizens from the ransom they demanded.

In a statement signed by the leader of the Caucus, Rep. Kingsley Chinda (PDP Rivers State) in Abuja, the main opposition lawmakers requested that the President resign from his office.

Chinda said: “In the past one month Nigerians have waited on the President to give assent to the Electoral Reform Bill passed to him by the National Assembly.

“As was postulated in several quarters, he has declined assent to same, using the cost of direct primaries as a decoy. The untold reason of declining, is to avoid the electronic transmission of results which will improve the credibility of the electoral system.

“This refusal, though contemplated, has left Nigerians confounded by a President who continues to show utter disdain for the Constitution and the reform of the institutions of state. Under him, our institutions of state have regressed, to the point that the gains of previous institutions reforms, embarked by Our Great Party while in power, have been either lost to his inaction or to his deliberate ploy to leave our country worse than he met it. On this point alone, we are not convinced that he is interested in the reform of the Electoral process.”

“A ruling party that cannot conduct its national convention lacks the capacity to implement some of the innovative and people-empowering provisions of the Bill, like the direct party primaries and electronic transmission of results from the units. As an opposition caucus, we will ensure that our members exercise their power under Section 58(5) of the Constitution to veto the President whenever the National Assembly deems it fit to table the issue for discussion”

“We make bold to remind General Buhari of the saying, of that old Greek General, Chabrias the Athenian, that “an army of sheep led by a lion is more feared than an army of lions led by a sheep.

“But, our nation and its people don’t have the luxury of time to wait on General Buhari to transform from the intrepid General who is currently missing in action to the lion that leads from the front, when bandits, terrorists and kidnappers who have seized our nation by the scruff of the neck are inflicting malevolence on the nation and imposing informal rules on citizens to command obedience to their dictates”.

“Time is running out. General Buhari should save our country by waking up from his long slumber or resign now”.

The caucus further said homesteads, hamlets, villages, towns and cities have turned into killing fields for bandits, a situation which had become unbearable.

Chinda said: “Everywhere we turn, today, our dead are either being prepared for burials by families whose hearts are torn up by grief, or they are being mourned by families who can’t tell where the corpses of their loved ones are or where the killer squads will turn up next.

“Here is the stark truth of the Nigerian condition under Buhari’s ruinous rule: citizens are in a prolong, severe and intense state of mourning that has kept them stuck in acute anguish, pain and trauma.

“In his recent remark at the sidelines of the COP-26 Conference in Scotland, United Kingdom, General Buhari boasted.

“We will defeat them, one highway, one rail link- and one job- at a time”. It is over three weeks since the Conference ended, no stone of resistance has been mobilized by the General against bandits, terrorists and kidnappers.”

“The communities of Sabon Birni of Sokoto State, Kagara of Niger State, Karim Lamido of Taraba State, Katoge and Yanturaku of Katsina State, and of the north east, north west, south south and south east are witnesses to the reigns of terror”, Chinda said.

The caucus was disappointed that the President who had boasted of leading from the front was now missing in action.

“General Buhari is concerned only about his personal and family safety, and the safety of his lackeys.

“Typical of rulers in history who suffered from messianic complex, he thinks his personal survival is tantamount to the survival of the nation”

“It is this delusion that makes the governance of our country dire and costly under his rulership. There’s something more ruinous about his delusion: he promotes himself beyond his talent of statecraft.

“Like Caligula, the delusional Roman emperor in history, who ordered that ships be lined up in a double anchor to form a bridge, so he could ride his horses across the gulf of Baiae to prove the prophesy of Thrasyllus the astrologer wrong that he had no chance of emerging as an emperor “than riding over the gulf of Baiae with horses”, General Buhari is deploying scarce state resources against peaceful protesters who are calling attention to the killings in the North to prove that he is an emperor”.

Nigerian Army enlists 5,800 new soldiers

The Nigerian army has, on Saturday, enlisted 5800 new soldiers. This is as the country strives to protect its territory.

During their Passing Out Parade from the Nigerian Army Depot, Zaria, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen Farouk Yahaya, urged the new soldiers to always be at alert to defend the territorial integrity of Nigeria at all cost.

The 5,800 new soldiers are members of the 81 Regular Recruit Intake at the Depot Nigerian Army, Zaria

General Yahaya observed that the country is currently encountering numerous security challenges by Boko Haram Terrorists, armed bandits, kidnappers, secessionist agitators and other criminal elements.

The COAS who was the Reviewing Officer at the POP said, the security challenges can only be surmount by the collective effort of officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army not excluding the newly recruited ones.

“You must be ready to go wherever ordered to defend the territorial integrity of Nigeria at any cost. You must obey all legitimate orders issued to you by your superiors no matter how unpleasant. It is also necessary to highlight that you are subject to both civil and military laws. As such, you must avoid any act that is inimical and poses a danger to the interest of the Nigerian Army, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the Nation in general,” he said.

He also expressed pleasure with the efforts of Depot Nigerian Army in producing brilliant soldiers for the country.

“Today marks yet another chapter in the history of this great institution and the Nigerian Army as we welcome a new set of soldiers into our noble profession. Depot Nigerian Army since its establishment in 1924 has borne the responsibility of molding selected able bodied citizens into well trained and disciplined soldiers to meet the manpower demands of the Nigerian Army. This function is of utmost importance and remains relevant considering the numerous security challenges presently bedeviling our great nation.”

“Distinguish invited guests, ladies and gentlemen, I am glad to report that Depot Nigerian Army has continued to plan and conduct its training activities in compliance with the Army Headquarters Training Directives whilst also taking cognizance of my vision of having “A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions Within a Joint Environment in Defence of Nigeria”.

“The institution has continued to evolve innovative ways of improving existing training standards in order to meet up with the demands of the dynamic contemporary operating environment. The introduction of cyclic training which affords every recruit the opportunity to participate actively in all training activities has translated in the production of highly skilled and professional young soldiers poised to serve in the Nigerian Army in various trade and non-trade capacities.

“It is heartwarming to note that these young soldiers of 81 Regular Recruit Intake are already being reputed for their high level of physical fitness, discipline and motivation. These attributes are encouraging and will indeed contribute to enhancing the strength as well as combat efficiency of the Service.

“The excellent parade we witnessed today further affirms numerous reports of the excellent performances recorded throughout the past months of rigorous military training.  This is a clear testimony of the zeal and enthusiasm of these young men to serve our father land meritoriously. I am certain that the basic military skills that have been inculcated in the course will position them to efficiently perform all tasks in the field no matter how daunting.

“I therefore urge all the new soldiers to maintain a high standard of professionalism and remain good ambassadors of Depot Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Army and the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

“As for the passing out recruits, you are all aware, Nigeria is currently facing numerous security challenges such as the activities of Boko Haram Terrorists, armed bandits, kidnappers, secessionist agitators and other criminal elements. I wish to state that these security challenges can only be surmounted by the collective resolve and effort of every officer and soldier of the Nigerian Army including those of you passing out today.

“I therefore urge you all to apply the mental, physical and moral training acquired over the past few months as well as those you will be exposed to at your respective units, formations and corps. I expect you all to uphold the Nigerian Army Core Values of Loyalty, Selfless Service, Courage, Discipline, Integrity and Respect for Others which are sacred to all our personnel. These values along with other cherished ethos of the Nigerian Army if well imbibed and upheld will help you attain great heights in your chosen career.

“May I at this juncture remind you of the importance of the Oath of Attestation that you have all sworn to. By this oath you are under obligation to remain loyal to constituted authorities at all times and place the interest of the nation ahead of your personal convictions.

“I urge you to always remain loyal especially to the Constitution and the President Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.

There was a beautiful parade by the passing out recruits and physical fitness exercise which earned the admiration of the invited guest and families of the new soldiers.

You’ll destroy Nigeria with your fighter jets — Mbaka warns Buhari

Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has given a strict warning to President Muhammadu Buhari that the fighter jets he acquired will be used to destroy the country.

According to the cleric in a sermon at Adoration Ground in Emene, he received a message from God to warn the president that the fighter jets would lead to the country’s destruction.

Last week, President Buhari announced the receipt of new fighter jets which he explained would be used in fighting security challenges in any part of the country.

Mbaka, however, warned: “The jets you are buying are going to be used to collapse Nigeria. Please, the first person to meet President Buhari after this message, should tell him that all these jets he is buying will be used to destroy Nigeria. God told me to tell him that all these jets are going to be used to destroy Nigeria. Let him stop buying more jets and begin to build more industries.”

The cleric went on to say the president would not be awarded for killing his citizens. He advised the president to deploy resources instead on projects that would lead to job creation for citizens.

“We don’t want to hear that our children are being killed. Those bombed are Nigerians. Nobody is going to give award to a mother or a farther for killing his or her children. The solution is simple, put the round peg in the round hole and banditry will die.

“People are not agitation for nothing. Listen to the reason for their agitation. Because even in the military there is agitation. In the police, there is agitation. In the church there is agitation. In the families people are agitating. Drivers are agitating, businessmen are agitating.

“Use the money and solve the problem otherwise, you are buying jets that aggrieved people will take up and scatter you people. If it doesn’t happen soon, it will happen later. Do you know how many billions are used to buy these jets? If they put some of these billions into job creation, the youths will be busy, parents will be happy that their children are going to work and coming back.

“The spirit of God is not happy with our leaders no matter how they will want to paint it. If all the men of God will be silent, the spirit of God will not be silent. When the poor masses are crying, we the men of God should be crying with them because they are our children.”
