Popular BBN star, Uriel, has explained why she’s called a music star despite not being a singer, and how she gave up on her dreams of being like Tiwa Savage.

Taking to her Instagram handle, she wrote:

“Those asking why my name is Uriel music star is because I wanted to be the next Tiwa savage back then.

When I first moved to Nigeria. I remember the day I gave up music sha. I got invited to perform after hyping myself online. I entered the stage, it was like a dream, my right leg started vibrating.

I was using one hand to hold my leg, the other to hold the microphone. I started singing when I reached chorus, they come to tell me to on the microphone.

Ehen an!! Ok microphone on, I forget my lyrics, I started singing amazing grace.

One guy clapped for me sha. He later asked for my number, uncle commot before I use my shaking leg kick you.

Big ups to Tiwa sha e no easy after that day, I dey run like wolverine if I hear come to perform.

Why my Name is Musicstar and why I gave up Music. Pls nobody should tell me to try again. I rebuke it. Help me tag TIWA she Try sha.

I no Fit lift my leg to dance. My legs stay steady vibrating, no be cute vibrating oh this one go make person commot for Bus.”

No Wonder My First Marriage Didn’t Work Out – Daddy Freeze Reacts to Ikoyi Registry Ban

In reaction to a Federal High Court judgement which declared marriages conducted at Ikoyi registry as invalid, Daddy Freeze has linked it to the failure of his first marriage.

The court presided over by Justice D. E. Osiagor, judged that only the local government marriage registries have the power to do such by the provisions of the 1999 Constitution (as amended). Osiagor ruled that it is for the federal government to conduct marriages.

In reaction, Daddy Freeze felt that might be why his first marriage failed, as it was “null and void from the get go.”

He went ahead to say that assuming the judgement had been passed before now, he would not have needed a divorce.

Freeze wrote on Instagram;

“No wonder my first marriage didn’t work. It was null and void from the get go.

If this report had come out sooner, I won’t even have needed a divorce, na every body go your way for end am.”

I’m Not Interested In Romance And Men, They’re Boring To Me – Angel

Popular 21-year-old Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Angel Smith, has come out to let her fans know her feelings and thoughts.

Angel took to her Twitter account to describe everything as being boring to her these days, and that doesn’t exclude men.

“Been so uninterested in life lately. Not interested in romance (even though men has always been boring to me), not writing anymore, not texting friends, just in bed tired and overwhelmed. No social/ love life. Hopefully, I get out of this loop. I’ll blame it on the illness.”

Angel had to put to rest all assumptions that she is into a romantic relationship with her fellow housemate, Cross.

She had also shunned moral critics who were condemning her for her indecency during the Big Brother show.
She warned them not to use their own moral compass to make life harder than it is for any of her colleagues from the show.

Acknowledging that being on the BHN show brings Fame, she however admitted that she and her colleagues were humans who could make mistakes.

She wrote: “Mental health is so important guys. It’s easy to forget that everyone that was on the show is a human being, it comes with the fame but we’re people like you and mistakes will be made. Let’s be kind. Don’t use your own moral compass to make it harder than it is for any of us.”

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, has released the names of the alleged murderers of Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old student.

The deceased was a student of Dowen College. He was allegedly beaten to death by his colleagues for turning down their invitation to join a cult.

Sylvester’s death attracted public discussion and empathy as Nigerians called for justice. Celebrities were not excluded too.

David has recently shared a picture of the names of the suspected murderers.

It is no longer news that the part two of the comedy movie The Ghost and the Tout has been released and is now showing in cinemas.

The first part of the movie, produced by Toyin Abraham and Samuel Olatunji, was produced in 2018 and had 87 percent likes by all those who viewed it.

The movie centers around a young woman whose life takes a new turn after an encounter with a ghost which she alone sees.

The sequel has casts such as Toyin Abraham, Mercy Johnson, Ini Edo, Osas Ighodaro, Destiny Etiko among others.

Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, has taken to her Instagram handle to warn bloggers and Nigerians in general to stop criticising Big Brother Naija housemate, Tega.

Recall that Tega, who was evicted last weekend from the Big Brother Naija house, had been caught on camera making out with a fellow housemate, Boma, despite being married to someone else.

Her action has been heavily condemned by Nigerians, as it was considered immoral and abominable. She and her lover, Boma, were evicted during the weekend.

However, Bobrisky has come out in her defence. She told Nigerians to allow the lady have a breathing space, especially after they had succeeded in getting her out of the house.
He said Tega was an adult and should be left to handle her marriage saga herself.

She wrote: “I so much dislike some bloggers in Nigeria… Tega this, Tega that. Let her breath now. Is her marriage not yours, Tega is an adult, let her handle her marriage saga by herself now. Some of you have succeeded to vote her out of show, why then all this rant? If you don’t have job, go and fetch water inside any basket close to you.”

BBN Eviction: Who would you miss?

About four housemates and contestants of the Big Brother Naija show have, today, been evicted from the shine ya eye show. The eviction was tagged a King-size eviction show.


The first housemate to be evicted was Tega. Recall the married woman in the house whose name has been on everyone’s lips? Yes, it’s her.


According to her, she misses her husband and son. She said he (her husband) would understand and not feel bad about the things she did in the house because he himself is bad. She also said she missed Boma.


She said, “My time in the house was just like a movie script, we are good actors.”

About her husband’s feelings, she said, “My husband is a bad guy, he understands”.

Also evicted was her supposed lover in the house, Boma.


Another evicted housemate was Michael who promised to pursue a relationship with Jackie.

Peace, evicted also, denied any feelings attached to Michael, as her relationship with him wasn’t different with everyone else.

Prince Kpokpogiri had disclosed that the reason behind his breaking up with popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh. He claimed the actress was cheating.
