“If You Like To Date Married Men, Go For The Rich Ones” – Relationship Coach Advises

"If You Like To Date Married Men, Go For The Rich Ones" - Relationship Coach Advises

Controversial Kenyan relationship coach, Vincent Komen, also known as Captain Kale, has advised women who like dating married men date the rich ones.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, he encouraged side chicks to step up their game, as he likened dating a married man to driving a government property.

He was certain that no married man would leave his wife for any side chick, and even if he does, the side chick should expect that he’ll do the same to her.

“If you want to be a side chick, don’t date a broke man, go for a wealthy man. You can’t sin and still struggle to make ends meet.
There’s no married man who’ll leave his woman for a side chick, no matter how much they spend on them. They can never replace their wives. Incase he leaves his wife for you, then he will also leave you for another woman.”

“Most men have been spending time with their families during this festive season and according to Kale, most slay queens are broke and don’t have sponsors to foot their bills. Those who didn’t invest well have no money to travel for holidays. Let them suffer in their bedsitters or go and milk cows,”
he said.

Save Nigeria from Buhari now, PDP Reps’ caucus cries out

Save Nigeria from Buhari now, PDP Reps’ caucus cries out

Members of the People’s Democratic Party Caucus in the House of Representatives, Wednesday have disclosed what they think is the real reason President Muhammadu Buhari withheld his assent to the amended electoral bill. They said it was to avoid electronic transmission of election results.

Decrying the insecurity in the country, thwt said Nigeria had been seized by hostage-takers-bandits and terrorists who now feed on the poor and impoverished citizens from the ransom they demanded.

In a statement signed by the leader of the Caucus, Rep. Kingsley Chinda (PDP Rivers State) in Abuja, the main opposition lawmakers requested that the President resign from his office.

Chinda said: “In the past one month Nigerians have waited on the President to give assent to the Electoral Reform Bill passed to him by the National Assembly.

“As was postulated in several quarters, he has declined assent to same, using the cost of direct primaries as a decoy. The untold reason of declining, is to avoid the electronic transmission of results which will improve the credibility of the electoral system.

“This refusal, though contemplated, has left Nigerians confounded by a President who continues to show utter disdain for the Constitution and the reform of the institutions of state. Under him, our institutions of state have regressed, to the point that the gains of previous institutions reforms, embarked by Our Great Party while in power, have been either lost to his inaction or to his deliberate ploy to leave our country worse than he met it. On this point alone, we are not convinced that he is interested in the reform of the Electoral process.”

“A ruling party that cannot conduct its national convention lacks the capacity to implement some of the innovative and people-empowering provisions of the Bill, like the direct party primaries and electronic transmission of results from the units. As an opposition caucus, we will ensure that our members exercise their power under Section 58(5) of the Constitution to veto the President whenever the National Assembly deems it fit to table the issue for discussion”

“We make bold to remind General Buhari of the saying, of that old Greek General, Chabrias the Athenian, that “an army of sheep led by a lion is more feared than an army of lions led by a sheep.

“But, our nation and its people don’t have the luxury of time to wait on General Buhari to transform from the intrepid General who is currently missing in action to the lion that leads from the front, when bandits, terrorists and kidnappers who have seized our nation by the scruff of the neck are inflicting malevolence on the nation and imposing informal rules on citizens to command obedience to their dictates”.

“Time is running out. General Buhari should save our country by waking up from his long slumber or resign now”.

The caucus further said homesteads, hamlets, villages, towns and cities have turned into killing fields for bandits, a situation which had become unbearable.

Chinda said: “Everywhere we turn, today, our dead are either being prepared for burials by families whose hearts are torn up by grief, or they are being mourned by families who can’t tell where the corpses of their loved ones are or where the killer squads will turn up next.

“Here is the stark truth of the Nigerian condition under Buhari’s ruinous rule: citizens are in a prolong, severe and intense state of mourning that has kept them stuck in acute anguish, pain and trauma.

“In his recent remark at the sidelines of the COP-26 Conference in Scotland, United Kingdom, General Buhari boasted.

“We will defeat them, one highway, one rail link- and one job- at a time”. It is over three weeks since the Conference ended, no stone of resistance has been mobilized by the General against bandits, terrorists and kidnappers.”

“The communities of Sabon Birni of Sokoto State, Kagara of Niger State, Karim Lamido of Taraba State, Katoge and Yanturaku of Katsina State, and of the north east, north west, south south and south east are witnesses to the reigns of terror”, Chinda said.

The caucus was disappointed that the President who had boasted of leading from the front was now missing in action.

“General Buhari is concerned only about his personal and family safety, and the safety of his lackeys.

“Typical of rulers in history who suffered from messianic complex, he thinks his personal survival is tantamount to the survival of the nation”

“It is this delusion that makes the governance of our country dire and costly under his rulership. There’s something more ruinous about his delusion: he promotes himself beyond his talent of statecraft.

“Like Caligula, the delusional Roman emperor in history, who ordered that ships be lined up in a double anchor to form a bridge, so he could ride his horses across the gulf of Baiae to prove the prophesy of Thrasyllus the astrologer wrong that he had no chance of emerging as an emperor “than riding over the gulf of Baiae with horses”, General Buhari is deploying scarce state resources against peaceful protesters who are calling attention to the killings in the North to prove that he is an emperor”.

Over 10,000 demand release of romantic soldier detained for accepting corper’s proposal

Nigerians excited as COAS orders release of romantic soldier

Over 10,000 persons have signed petitions for the release of a female soldier, Private Sofiyat Akinlabi, who is currently being detained by military authorities for accepting the marriage proposal of an unnamed corper at the National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp in Yikpata, Kwara State.

The first petition was started by activist Deji Adeyanju of Concerned Nigerians and has attracted over 5,000 signatures as of press time. It was titled, ‘FreeSofiat: Nigerian Army should release detained female Nigerian soldier immediately’.

It read in part, “We’re demanding the immediate release of the young female soldier being held by the Nigerian Army before it sparks national global outrage.

“Furthermore, we condemn the prolonged detention and alleged violation of her human rights by army authorities by denying Sofiyat access to members of her family and refusing to provide her with food, sanitary materials, and medical care. Such gross violation of human right, abuse of power and excessive use of force is absolutely uncalled for and condemnable.”

The next petition was started by activist Omoyele Sowore and has also attracted over 5,000 signatures. It was titled, ‘#FreeSofiyat: Release female soldier held over marriage proposal in Nigeria’.

It partly read, “It is Christmas time and Sofiat should be with her family and loved ones during the holidays and not held up.

“We are asking the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Farouk Yahaya, to respect her constitutional rights and ensure that she is not stigmatised or dismissed from the military. We further call on the Nigerian military and security forces to review and remove all discriminatory rules against servicewomen in its books with immediate effect!”

Plateau varsity ASUU goes on indefinite strike

Plateau varsity ASUU goes on indefinite strike

The Plateau State University chapter of Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has commenced an indefinite strike, as it demands welfare and working environment.

In a statement jointly issued yesterday in Jos by the Chairperson and Secretary,   Dr. Hassan Zitta  and  Deme Bitrus,   respectively, ASUU said it made the decision to embark on the strike at its Congress held on Monday, December 20.

It complained that Plateau government had not kept to its agreement with the union, hence the decision for the strike

Issues bothering the institution bordered around insecurity and non-payment of earned allowances.

The union complained of paucity of accommodation for both students and staff and said government needed to construct more lectures halls, among others.

“At our congress held on Monday, Dec. 20, members reviewed the level of implementation of Plateau State Government/ASUU-PLASU agreement.

The congress, the statement said, resolved that the state government having signed an agreement with the Union on March 2, 2021 has not kept faith with the document. :

It said government had failed to “address security concerns by deploying the services of armed Civil Defence Corps”.

Also, the Plateau government had not located a functional police outpost in the university host community, just as it had been unable to settle the national minimum wage arrears within the first quarter of 2021.

The union accused the government of failing to immediately release the N70 million that was to be part payment of the first tranche of earned academic allowance arrears.

ASUU said as at the time of its congress, the second tranche of N72 million in October, 2021 was already long overdue.

The government was also accused of failing to complete the payment of mainstreamed earned academic allowances for the 2019/2020, among others.
